I want creativity...I want originality...and I want it now...
Tell me about one random thing that makes you happy--funny, silly, goofy, whatever--as long as it's not the obvious boobs, beer, bacon or Barack.

I love when the holiday Starbucks cups come out...stupid but true.
Oh, Sarcastic One,I like your forum topics, because they are always something I feel like talking about. In fact, this is one of the silly things that makes me happy. The elation I feel at a forum topic I wanna respond to!
A few of my favorite things: Rain drops on roses...no kidding. (but you know you started singing in your head)
I love the feeling I get when I hear a really great cover song. When I see an old couple holding hands I get all warm and fuzzy inside. I hear someone outside my circle of friends quote one of my favorite movies, and I beam. The moment I realize that I've read half a book in one sitting, I am awe-struck and eager to keep reading. And, to be totally shallow and girly, I get all goofy when I see the end of a romantic comedy when the girl and guy realize they are in fact meant for each other.
So yeah, that's my story. Let's have some beer, cook some bacon, watch some movies, and go blogging.
I love when someone I barely know quotes Princess Bride...so I know what you mean!
I love when I hear the most random of conversation pieces and I want to either giggle or eavesdrop better (one moment today had one freshman tell another that rats like cheese--she said it like it was a revelation!)(okay, maybe they were sophomores---but I doubt it)
I love getting cards in the mail.
I love hearing people sing the wrong lyrics to a song--but with all of their might, because they know that those are the correct words!
I love seeing the expression on my daughter's (any of them) face when she is recognized for an accomplishment.
I love it when my three year old asks to do something, then continues to drive her point home by repeating 'Wish I could, daddy. Wish I could.'
I cried like a baby when my daughter earned highest honors at Dance Nationals last summer. I wasn't born to be a dance daddy, but I wouldn't trade it now for the world. (Which is good, cause I have no choice.)
So it's allergy season and I wake up with a head full of congestion. No fun. I don't like to blow my nose, so I twist some tissue into a bit of rope and thread it into my nose and twist a little more. On those occasions when the mucus is just thick enough, it will all pull out in long strands until suddenly my head feels 10 pounds lighter and the air smells so nice.
Tim--I love seeing otherwise macho/conservative/guy guys turn to mush when they talk about their kids...sign of a great dad...
BB...humor like that is why I come here....and I learned a loooooonnnnng time ago to leave the coffee and the food in the kitchen--between keyboards and gross out factor, there's no such thing as reading YBNBY and safely enjoying a snack...(and my old ENT would have told you that your way is better anyway...he was a big proponent of one nostril at a time)
hey...we could start the YBNBY diet plan...charge people to read our posts...whaddya think Scara?
Jonnie...see, it's the simple stuff that should make us happy...esp in this economy!
I love when my cat curls up on my hip in bed signalling it's time for lights out. I love(d) the innocent humor of Pee Wee's Playhouse and always wanted to be the next "Miss Yvonne". I love the feel of sunbathing - the sun on my skin feels so nice even though it's deadly. I love having multiple orgasms. I love being a girl and having lots of clothing options. I love people who use multi-syllabic words in the right context.
Sorry sentense structure is rather rudimentary but this was stream of consciousness-type of writing.
Comic books. Symphony Chocolate. The Electric Light Orchestra. When a cute blonde follows me on Twitter.
The smell of the sea. A nap on the sofa on a quiet afternoon. Going on an adventure
Late night chats with the woman I love. When one of my son's says or does something that makes me stop and think "wow, he's really his own person". And the squeal of my one year old daughter who runs to hug me when I walk in the door after a long day at work.
Jeez, these are starting to read like Craigslist personals....
SO - this was a great topic. You are our Forum Queen.
I love slowly driving the dirt roads on the ranch on a warm evening with my two year old boy sitting on my lap steering the truck as the warm air carries the smell of alphalpha into the cab. I love to stop and let my little boy moo at the cows as he giggles. As we drive around the ranch, I love it when he looks though his binoculars backwards intently as he says "werde go?" When we look for deer.
When chopping wood, I love to hear my little boy let out a squeal and cheer for me as the axe slams into the wood.
I love playing tractors and trucks with my little boy.
I love it when I hold my fist up and ask my little boy if he wants to wrestle and he comes running for me sqealing a two year olds best battle cry.
I love the warm feeling I get when I kneel down at night asking the Big man for help and forgiveness. A feeling that lets me know that he loves me just as much as I love my little boy.
I love sarcasm, creativity, and not knowing when people are serious or kidding (as long as my life doesn't hang in the balance--a sarcastic surgeon would have to get the boot).
I love pumpkin pie, pumpkin coffee, pumpkin ice cream...and when I'm about to puke from eating pumpkin flavored stuff for weeks, I turn around and it's egg nog (flavored) season.
I love the leaves turning vibrant earth tone shades with a bright Carolina blue sky in the background. Today is 78 degrees but looks like fall.
And incredible architecture---whether it's a beautiful old campus, towering skyscrapers, NOLA's French Quarter, Europe's treasures or an antebellum plantation, I can sit in silence and look at them for hours.
Thanks Scara...I figured with all the craziness over the last few months in great big world, it's nice to focus on what makes us happy (when the media is focused on what would make us jump from a bridge instead) .
yes, I'm the driver of the estrogen bus....get over it boys!

I like the feeling that comes with a long-awaited sneeze.
I like it when people get what they deserve (good and bad)
I like a bed with soft pillows and my strong man.
I love the colors of the autumn leaves. Even while I'm raking them. And I don't mind when they're gone, because that means it's time to put up the Christmas lights. I always liked Christmas lights, but they are even more special when seen through my daughters' eyes.
The smell of autumn leaves.
The "tap-dancing" noise of my dog's claws when I come home.
Curling up with a new book (esp. S. King)
My boyfriend reaching for me in his sleep.
When it's really cold, and it smells like snow.
My brother's laughter.
